I have always loved cooking for people. I think at an early age I was taught that preparing a meal was about the highest way to pay tribute to someone you cared for. This blog for me is just about sharing those recipes that I want to keep alive and the tips that I think are actually worth sharing. As a child I’d watch my mother stuff binder after binder with projects whether they be for the garden or for home renovation and often times a new recipe to try. For me, a person who loves to cross things off a list, those binders were almost oppressive. I wanted a way to curate and easily access all the ideas I had brewing and also look back at projects completed- the best ones of all. A blog made perfect sense and also allowed me to continue the recipe development from my editorial days.
